Taiwan Number One has Crusader Kings II

Where are mods stored?

The Elder Kings mod appears to be corrupted, and so I am trying to uninstall and reinstall. The issue is that unsubscribing does not uninstall, and I cannot find where the mods are stored so that I can delete them manually. I have tried checking the Paradox Interactive folder but nothing turned up. Can anyone remedy this? Thanks.

Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mod

There should be an "ElderKings" folder and an "ElderKings.mod" file.

If it's not there, you then likely got Documents on Onedrive......or simply look at the wrong user account directory......or got a userdir.txt file inside the CK2 game files folder, which creates a custom folder with that stuff.

That worked! My thanks, good sir. Unfortunately, the mod is still crashing upon clicking single-player but that's a separate issue.

Maybe you got another mod selected and loaded as well that causes that.

Another maybe refers to the Elder Kings folder that is NOT inside "mod", but a level higher, which includes save files and such. If that still exists, rename or delete it and see if that helps.

Else i can only suggest to join their discord channel and ask there.

You've come through for me once more, Varainger! There was a "loose" Elder Kings folder and deleting it fixed the crashing issue. Many thanks!

Maybe it had a corrupted old save file inside there or such.
I don't know.

Either way, glad that idea of mine helped.
