Hi, about exploration, you should not have problems with ores at some point because ores are at the same GPS coords when creating a new world.

-> We become more than Rich after finding a few of the Rich ore spots of the game, that is where all ores can be found close to each other within 1Km.

-> All Planets and Moons have Rich ore sports to find.

-> Keep in mind Moons have all ores -1 that is Uranium but a lot can be found faster by exploring the asteroids around all Moons, so the Moons are the best places to have all ores very early in survival.

That said, a lot can be done to automate and where are some examples :


We can create Automatic Factory using Sorters :

One Way conveyor line setup using one Sorter to empty the connected ship, one Sorter to empty the Refinery and one Sorter to empty the Assembler

Sorters must be set to "Drain ALL + specific Whitelist".
Like the one to empty the Refinery must be set on ( Drain All + Whitelist ingots )

May use AI blocks and Remote Control block to create Cargo Drones that will transfer goods station to station, here is a working trajectory for long distance :
