Code Modding Support In Workshop
I just created my first code mod for this game, applying some balancing to larger buildings, advanced hunger mechanics, and auto slow-down when being attacked. They are based on BepInEx and HarmonyX.

I would like to provide these mods to the community. Nexus seems to be buggy though. So I would kindly request code modding on Steam Workshop, as many other Unity games have done so in the past. You could bundle BepInEx with the game and we provide the plugin DLLs.

This is needed, unless devs are willing to do a million sliders for setting tweaks.

People like fine tuned to their liking zombie experiences in games.

a very popular mod would be the ability move to a new town ... basically restart with your tech, existing vehicles and veteran squads plus a choice of goodies based on their cargo capacity

vehicles and tech can be done manually by the console, goodies too ... being able to chose the people would be the hard part

I second this proposal, bepin being bundled would allow for so much fun community creativity and the ability to have a huge and diverse workshop catering to everyones tastes.
Can you briefly describe the process you took to mod the game?

I used ILSpy or some newer VSCode equivalent to browse the code, which fortunately wasn't obfuscated. And then I just created the hooks via HarmonyX lib, install Bepinex in the game folder, and put the assembled HarmonyX DLL into the plugin folder. It's been a while, but should be about it.

I guess the devs have other priorities for now, though it's worth mentioning that 112 Operator has never received official code modding support either. A lot of balancing and QoL features have been added since my attempt. So I guess the next priority will be creating meaningful stories in this universe.
