Hello, can someone help me make a mod. I need to write it to make it work. I already have all the ideas written down, I just can't turn them into a mod to make it work. the idea is this: it's very boring if you use the same lvl 5 officers for 90% of the game
I decided to rebalance their skills to make the game more interesting.
(i have write 90 % of al ideas but i need to rebalance it and make it work on steam workshop)


what about, for example, a radio operator with a good heart who secretly sends telegrams home from sailors? ok, it increases morale, but when he is radio operator, the crew makes +20% noise and the ship is 20% easier to detect.by radio ..

Or specialist to maintain the electric battery to increase the battery capacity by 20%...


change limit to oficier to 8 (or 9) but make them endurance less. and make them to have 1 less folower on basic

also make basic moral lost higher becouse there will be many moral boost in skils


it will be also great to make it cost less to promote sailor to officier or make it cost 1000 gold and it can take 4 weeks



i have 9 new parsonalities :

seawolf lower perservence gain, higer moral ,+1 folower

sniper aiming speed +20 % (ok your radioman is sniper ? hmm bad luck :D they not take him to leader school D )

natural leader ,+2 folower

Genius aiming speed +10 % ,lower perservence gain, higer moral ,+1 folower

Prussian oficier aiming speed +10 % ,higer moral ,+1 folower

Goodfather lower perservence gain, higer moral ,

Idiot lower skil (not all born skills is positive)

Strong but dump more HP , lower skill

very small lower HP , lover cosumtion food and O2

strict ,-10% noise lvl , lower moral

great eyesight +20 visible range (ou no ,your radioman has great eyes ? hmm bad luck :D they not take him to leader school D )


Enginers :

Elektromotor specialist I lowering fuel consumption by 10 % , make him asigmet to electroengine generate oxigen - it is like he higer batery capacity , or make him higher electro capacity by 20 %


Elektromotor specialist II lowering fuel consumption by 10 % , make him asigmet to electroengine generate oxigen - it is like he higer batery capacity


Speed specialist I boost max speed by 10 % , higher fuel consumtion by 30 % , + 20% noise lvl


Speed specialist II boost max speed by 20 % , higher fuel consumtion by 50 % , + 30% noise lvl

Handyman II repair speed + 40 % + produce spare parts



Leader :


Diet Cook I assign as cooker, lowering food consumtion -20 % , also lowering morale

Diet Cook II assign as cooker, lowering food consumtion -40 % , also lowering morale

master Cook I assign as cooker, food consumtion +20 % , also boost morale and fatigue

master Cook II assign as cooker, food consumtion +40 % , also extremly boost morale and fatigue

Drill master assign to play card , extremli lowering discipline and make eavent to spawn crew skill ,

Management II +1 folower



Radioman :

Medical Coordinator II same as it was + 1 folower

Good Heard I morale boost + 10 % , noise lvl + 10% , radio detection + 10% (is like he secretly sent sailors telegraf to home)

Good Heard II morale boost + 30 % , noise lvl + 20% , radio detection + 30%

Sensitive Hearing II (lower lvl 1 amake lvl 2 stronger)

I can not help you making this mod but I can give you some feedback. I think many things are quite redundant or may lead to overpower even when you make basic moral loose higher. But there are some really good ideas, too. From my point of view, these things would make sense:

- promotion should take time AND should also cost money
- Good heart radio men, but maybe that should better be an event?
- 1 less follower on basic
- natural leader (but with +1 only)
- very small, lower HP, lower food consumption and O2
- Godfather lower perseverance gain, higher moral, but only when on duty
- strict, decrease noise level but lower moral/increase fatigue
- Speed specialist, boost max speed but higher fuel/energy consumption and maybe noise level
- Diet Cook, lowering food consumption but also lowering morale/increase fatigue

I would add:
- Deep dive specialist, increase crush depth (but decrease crash dive time?)
- Anti aircraft specialist, increase hit chance, range and damage against aircraft
- Anti ASDIC specialist, decrease ASDIC detection chance
- Evade specialist, decrease damage through water bombs and/or make them to be less accurate

One of these things (1 less follower on basic) is already in the UBE mod. The UBE mod also already alters the skills the officers can have. Maybe you can get in touch with Link, the creator of UBE.
