Asset Building Scale
Hey everyone... I am finding that workshop assets appear much smaller in scale than Vanilla assets... seems to be a totally different scale... Is this an anomaly or do others notice this? If this is a common issue can anyone point me to any discussions on the issue,,, I am wondering if there is a Mod issue to track down or if in general asset creators generally create the assets smaller in scale. Thanks for any input.

What buildings are you referring to? Residential, commercial, industrial? It is low density or high density buildings?
Vanilla buildings vary in scale wildly.

Mostly residential at this point... Alot of Smiles.... Khrysler....etc. The custom assets for the most park seem fairly consistent.... though I have found some to scale with vanilla... I have three story houses that seem the same height as a small cape...

Do you have a screenshot of the buildings?

Here is an example of high density residential in one of my cities. There are vanilla assets as well as workshop assets.

I take and make buildings historical to keep them at the model that was in an earlier level. I look at is as giving my city texture, and a way to showcase different times in the city.

Here is another view of that same city with high density residential, low and high density commercial and offices using both vanilla and workshop assets.
