Hi,

The actual music played in the game is .ogg files located in the game install folder, in doorkickers/data/sounds/music

You want to mod the music or just listen something else while playing?
I would like to add them in, so I can use the music inside levels.
(ex. putting in random music for a club map)

So, convert the music in .ogg format and place it in the folder indicated.

In your custom map, select the music file you prefer.
that leads me to my next question, how do I get the music in game to not over-lap with the sfx music?
should i put my music file in the sounds instead of music?

SFX will be played in any case...

Just came across this as I'm learning the editor. If I put custom sounds into my maps, will they be packaged into the map when it's published, enabling any user to hear that sound? Or will it have to be a custom install for everyone?

Hi, you can take a look at the tree folder visualization of this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/doorkickers2/mods/81?tab=files

It should be:
[Map name folder]/sounds/sfx

No clue, that's what I wanted to do from the start. I wanted everybody to hear it, that's why I thought "use a custom sfx in-game so everybody will hear it" but guess not.

Thanks. It's not currently possible to do this via Steam workshop?
No.
When v1.0 launched or later.

For the maps yes. Other mods will be supported at the full release.
