Due to a limitation in Steam Cloud at the time that the Workshop features were added to ND, files over 100 MB are not supported.

Is this limit going to be increased in near future?

Some custom maps can contain custom models, textures inside BSP. So they can easily exceed the current limit.

I've made a change to use the newer version of the Workshop API that allows larger files.

If you right-click ND in Steam, choose Properties, and go to the Betas tab, there should now be a Workshop Upload Fixes beta that you can opt into. (if it doesn't show up, you may need to restart Steam). I've tested and it appears to work with your map.

However, it's possible that the changes in that beta are not compatible with current servers, so you might need to switch the Betas option back to "None" after uploading before you can play again.

Thank you. It works fine now. I've successfully published that map.

What is the current limit? I think that the file limit info can also be stated somewhere in wiki in "Workshop requirements" section for others to know it too.

I also hope that clients who subscribe to this map will not get unexpected behavior. Will check it now

I don't think that Steam has a per file limit anymore for the Cloud. The old 100mb limit was just due to how their old API for it functioned.

The Steam Cloud quota is still effective though. Each user has a maximum of 768mb of space for up to 100 files for ND. We do have a little bit of room to raise this if necessary, without requiring a game update.

You can check how much space that you still have available by right-clicking the game in Steam, choosing Properties, and then navigating to the Updates tab.

Downloading should be fine. The limitations were on writing.

I opted out from beta and subscribed to my map. I've also removed my original downtown_reversed.bsp from nucleardawn/maps folder.

For some reason Steam downloaded only 28 MB for my map which is 126 MB in size. I run ND and it tries to sync 1 of 1 files. Syncing window disappeared and the map didn't appear in nucleardawn/maps folder. This is the issue that appeared several months ago. You said it's workshop bug not ND. I also have a big internet packet loss currently, so this can be a reason too...
