Euro Swords Revised (Legacy)

Description
With Permission from the original creator I have added the mod with some compatibility, proper naming, and balancing. Fuji still holds all rights to these works and at any time may request this mods removal. I will keep this up to date and compatible for as long as I am allowed to/able to.

A collection of 24 weapons with unique stats.
I have also done some balancing with this mod for my own personal play to get the weapons to a more realistic weight and material cost.

2 - Daggers
2 - Shortswords
2 - Arming Swords
1 - Broadsword
2 - Heavy Swords
3 - Axes
3 - Maces
5 - Polearms
4 - Sabres

Can currently be purchased at The Hub or World's End.
A retired explorer frequents The Hub's bar who sells blueprints and a small selection of weapons, while the weapons merchant in World's End sells a good selection and bluprints.
Some weapons can also be found in the world on NPCs.

Compatibility.
Expanded Citied - The Hub is fully compabile, though the Hub Merchant may or may not show up, the World's End Merchant will always show up.

All weapons are generated according to the vanilla manufacturer tiers with respective skins for each.

It slightly adjusts weapon weights, brings vanilla weapons to be on par with their closest real world examples for armor penetration, and cost adjustment to be in line with minimal standards. The overall changes are within 10% of each other for any damage change, but weights affect that too, over all, weapons become lighter. I might just release a vanilla like version.

What does it do to vanilla weapons. What are the changes.

I really want to use this mod, but i dont like that it touches the vanilla weapons. Any way i can either remove that or you can remove it?

I would use this if it didn't change any of the vanilla weapons.

The balancing should be minimal, Its 80-90% in line with vanilla, but the original weapons were 30-40% under powered for some of them and even broken in some aspects.

A quick note that not only it adds new weapons, but also does something to vanilla weapons. I realized that now since I missed the line "I have also done some balancing with this mod"

I haven't worked on this mod recently, but I have been working on a similar project to make this mod and my other mod more efficient. Its a side project, but it will likely be addressed at that time.

There's a minor bug in this mod: Several sword meshes will not be used in the game, because they have the same filenames - even though they're in different folders (".\mods\Euro Swords Revised\items\weapons\mesh\sword_type1" and ".\mods\Euro Swords Revised\items\weapons\mesh\sword_type2"). Here are the swords with conflicting filenames:

- Cross Bastard Sword
- Cross Arming Sword
- Cross Shortsword
- Straight Dagger

I was finally able to see the different meshes in game by giving everything in "sword_type2" a unique name, then updating the references in FCS accordingly.

Oh wait I saw your other mod, Lord's Armoury, lol. I might check that one out as well

Great collection of European weapons, thank you!

Would it be possible to potentially make the meshes slightly bigger? In game they look relatively small compared to other weapons in the game, I think FCS has the option to scale the weapon larger so I might make a patch for this. Also to fix the in-game icons as some of the weapons scale oddly in their icons.
