This mod was made as an attempt to address a very urgent issue with hivers. Not gonna beat around the bush here or dress up my opinion on vanilla hivers: THEY SUCK

This mod does several things:
1.- RENABLES THE HIVER SHIRT SLOT AND HELMET SLOT FOR SOLDIER DRONES
Before you get all excited about this, i have restricted ALL equipment so that they can only use the stuff they use in vanilla. The only stuff they can use are the following items.

2.- HIVER EXOSKELETON
A "shirt" that only hivers can use, provides a good amount of coverage all around and it is fit for any hiver and hiver subrace.

3.- HIVER SHELL
A "helmet" specially designed for Soldier Drones that only protects the head, now your soldier drones won't be one shot during late game because of lack of helmet.

4.- EDITED EVERY SINGLE NPC THAT CAN POTENTIALLY SPAWN AS A HIVER
The gimmick of these coverings is that they can only be found on other hivers, the hivers YOU start with will not spawn with anything thought, that will make it that much more rewarding. If you feel like nothing has changed at the beginning, that's the point, you will become considerably more resilient late-game.

Every npc that can potentially spawn as a hiver WILL have their corresponding coverings with him without affecting the other potential spawns whatsoever. That being said, hivers that are added via mods are not and will not be supported.

Keep in mind that some NPCs have tweaked armor qualities on their spawns so that they make sense with their envoirement. Just think logically who could possibly have a masterwork or a specialist grade.

Probably not, it's been ages since last time i played Kenshi, and this mod came from a time before Hivers had access to shirts and there weren't many mods for it, nowadays, there's plenty of options.

I removed the mod from my list, imported multiple times, and also even verified my game files, the hiver exoskeletons are still in my game, how and why is it still there

No, I made them based on a quick search on google for shells or carapaces (i forgot exactly which), grabbed them and made some recoloring and resizing. That's about it.

There's no model, which is why i didn't include an image. Also, keep in mind that this mod came at a time when there was literally nothing for hivers. (even before they got shirts in vanilla) so you might find better options in more popular releases nowadays.

The mod doesn't make it so that Drones can wear just any helmet, they can only wear the one helmet in this mod.

Now, if the hiver you're using comes from another mod, then it won't be able to wear it because this mod edits almost all vanilla entity hivers so that they are able to wear their stuff. (At the time it was the only measure that could've been done)

I can't get a hiver soldier to wear a hiver helmet i bought? Is this due to a mod conflict?

Thanks! Keep in mind this was made on a time where there were no hiver related shirts available. (not even the vanilla ones)
