News:
v1.1
- Added missing Thruster component to the thrusters. Now it resembles more the 'hybrid thruster style'.
- Made flame longer ONLY VISUAL CHANGE

Info:
This thruster is a combination of the Hydrogen and Ion thrusters, hence it needs hydrogen as fuel, and will drain about the same amount of power as an Ion thruster.
The benefit of this mix is that the Epstein drive is 2x as powerful as a normal Hydrogen thruster, and the fuel effeciency is 8x better.

Specs:
Force: 12 MN (= 2 Hydrogen thrusters)
Atmospheric effeciency: 0.5 (6 MN = a Hydrogen thruster)
Fuel effeciency: 8 (8 Epstein drives will will consume as much as 1 Hydrogen thruster)
Power drain: about the same as 1 Ion thrusters

Currently uses the Hydrogen thruster's model, but it has a blue colored flame. Custom model will be created.

I'm getting a lot of critical errors relating to "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." This mod doesn't work for me right now.

Nevermind apparently this is a problem with all Hydrogen thrusters...

Not sure if this mod is being kept up to date anymore, but it is one of my favorites so I'll post this anyways

There seems to be a problem with toggling the drives on and off. When switched off, they will not turn back on unless the grid's power is cycled. I don't know what could be causing this

@1anton yeah the only way to get it working would be a 2 block device, so one uses power and the other hydrogen. Very frustrating when you consider the damn thrusters already have the power consumption in config.... Just not used for what ever reason... Could have made them use some power, like most blocks 1kw say for pumps and stuff.

@1antonioorlo1 check my earlier posts, its currently not possible that H2 thrusters use electricity and hydrogen. Only one of them at a time.
