Guqin Class Mod

Introduces the glass cannon & support class, Guqin.



The Guqin is a trained musical performer wielding a hybrid weapon that is part crossbow and part guqin, an ancient musical instrument of which the class is named after. Due to the prototype nature of her weapon, it deteriorates quickly with repeated use.

In combat the Guqin functions as a glass cannon, wrecking havoc onto the enemy backline while healing and bestowing buffs on her allies. She is prone to getting 'one-shotted', heavily relying on her party to guard her.

Pros:

• High damage, especially against the enemy backline.
  
• Can play the support role.

Cons:

• Very low HP and SPD.
  
• Defensively weak. Lacks skills/trinkets that adds Dodge, PROT, HP, or Aegis.
  
• Reliant on being guarded.

1. Longbow - Basic long ranged attack. Bonus armor penetration if Guarded. Each shot deteriorates her weapon which lasts until the end of battle. Debuff cannot be removed.

2. Blitz - Back 1. Bypasses Stealth, adds ACC, and a buff to Leechbolt's Heal for 1 round. Each use deteriorates her weapon which lasts until the end of battle. Debuff cannot be removed.

3. Countersong - Forces an ally to guard her, reducing the ally's stress for a small amount while applying a "Can't be Marked" buff on that ally for 3 rounds. The guard lasts 1 Battle.

4. Lullaby - Heals a party member or herself. Bonus healing if guarded.

5. Harpoon - weaker melee attack with Knockback 2.

6. Leechbolt - A life-siphoning shot that heals the Guqin, with a small chance to heal allies. Each shot deteriorates her weapon which lasts until the end of battle. Debuff cannot be removed.

7. Dissonance - Stuns an enemy, then Clears Stun from her party.







- Guqin has abysmal Stats in certain places, starting with only 15 HP and -2SPD.
- Guqin shares the Performance Hall (Crimson Court building) with the Jester.
- With the CoM update that adds on-crit bonuses, Guqin gains a +5% Ranged DMG bonus that lasts for 1 Battle each time she scores a Crit, to offset her weapon deterioration.
- Guqin benefits greatly from a Guarding party member (vanilla or modded).
