(YOU NEED THIS FOR A FEW OF YELLOW'S MODS TO WORK)
(THIS IS A REUPLOAD OF A MOD THAT YELLOW HAS TAKEN DOWN AND WILL MOST LIKELY NO LONGER BE UPDATED ALTHOUGH I WILL TRY TO MAINTAIN IT)

President Tungsten's Obnoxious Repository of Standardized Files for Compatibility and Organizational Purposes (AKA Yellow's Mega Dependencies Pack)

Requires Dev10 beta or higher


Where the shared files sit, for easy management and faster loading times.

Also contains the shared part of my modded tech tree ; researching some techs will be useless if you don't have a mod providing the modules for that tech. This include some Prof Aluminium techs that had to be thrown in to ensure the charges would work.

IMPORTANT : THE TECH TREE INCLUDES TIER -1 DUMMY TECHS TO HOLD MODULES WHICH WILL BE IN PRE-TIER 0 TECHS IN THE FUTURE TECH TREE UNIFIED MOD, WHILE HAVING THEM ALREADY UNLOCKED WITHOUT SAID MOD. FOR THIS REASON, WHEN STARTING A CONQUEST GAME, ALWAYS START AT LEAST AT TIER 0. NOT DOING SO WILL PREVENT THE VANILLA AI TO BUILD ANYTHING AS IT CAN ONLY DO RESEARCH FOLLOWING A PREDEFINED LIST OF TECHS.




Has the now deprecated Heraldry Unified built in.

This allows all modded charges to be used together.

If you are an author of one of the mods supported by this one, and you update your mod with new charge related stuff (new charges or changes in the heraldic styles file), please comment below so i'm notified, and i'll update this.

If you are the author of a unsupported mod which adds charges, please comment below with your mod link and i'll add your charges in.


Has Cataclysm's ram charge bonus reenabler half-merged in, by having the bonuses apply on the existing rams rather than adding new ones. Whitefox spikes and Ramming Speed support added. Original mod nowhere to be found.

You don't have the mod for them. This just enables mods to have a shared tech tree.

so whats with the destroyer and battleship turrets that are supposed to exist in the research tree but i cant find them even in sandbox construction

The worst part being that it fixes Professor Aluminum's & Doctor Chroniums which near rely off this at times (The strange ventral coils "Are not available" despite being... on the ship?)

paired wtih again, hoisting mods that no longer work but only work on this. It's a mess and I sometimes wish someone would clean up the workshop to avoid stuff like this.

Yes, it used to be a compatibility foundation for a range of mods but it's all obsolete today.

Ok after going around and testing I have figured out that, this mod genuinely isn't worth it.

Essentially the immense patches it would have brought are all but obsolete as most the mods with said problems, have fixed them. Yellow's consistent "I will integrate your mod and patch it to work" however means that, some modules that may not work on their own are found in here, however it overrides much more than just that, Including breaking vanilla modules.

This seems to be a patchwork for when, it was made but is largely obsolete due to being... 3 years old. It overrides vanilla modules, it causes multiple issues, and the changes and fixes it brings, are largely... broken. Ironically.

There is no version that doesn't override vanilla, and there seems to be no hope for all the files it fixed at its time. Overall sorry to say but, just avoid this mod, It causes far more issues than worth.

so what are the mods that are placeholders in the tech trees? stuff like air oars and miniguns sounds fun but i havent he slightest clue where you got them from
