WSR Shotgun Animations

Description
This mod is a plugin for Weapon Skin Replacer. It adds 3 new Soldier AnimSets intended for shotguns:
  • New firing animations with a different style of pumping.
  • New reload animation for bullpup pump shotguns, such as all three vanilla shotguns.
  • New reload animation for classic pump shotguns, such as TLP one.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires X2 WOTC Community Highlander and Weapon Skin Replacer. The mod is completely safe to add or remove during an on-going campagn.

CONFIGURED WEAPONS
  • Vanilla Shotguns (3 weapons): new pumping animations, bullpup reload animation.
  • TLP Shotguns (3 weapons): new pumping animations, non-bullpup reload animation for the conventional shotgun. Mag and Plasma use the vanilla reload animation, since they don't have loading ports anywhere.
  • ETC Shotgun (1 weapon): new pumping animation, non-bullpup reload animation.
  • Coil Shotgun (1 weapon): new pumping animation, non-bullpup reload animation.
  • Laser Shotgun (1 weapon): Vektor animations for firing and reloading, since the weapon doesn't have anything that would resemble a loading port or moving pump.
  • Merc Plasma Shotgun (1 weapon): new pumping animations, vanilla reload animation due to lack of a loading port. Made the left arm actually move during the reload.
  • EXALT Shotgun (1 weapon / 3 tiers): new pumping animations, non-bullpup reload animation.


CONFIGURATION

The mod is entirely configurable through:
..\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1701209115\Config\XComWeaponSkinReplacer.ini

It's possible to configure the mod to use the new pumping animations only ~50% of the time, as well as to revert to original firing or reloading animations should you want to. All on per-weapon basis.

KNOWN ISSUES

The pump/foregaurd of the TLP shotguns does not move during pumping. That is a problem with all TLP weapons being inanimate husks and fixing this would require a lot of manual work that I don't care for.

can u fix the idle of the necromancer staff animation so it's in my guys hand?

Thanks for making it configurable. I was watching the video and I was thinking I really like these animations, but I'd miss the pizazz of the vanilla pumping animations.

Well, all X2 weapons are oversized, so probably A or C batteries :D
