Nassau 1715

Description
"In an honest service there is thin commons, low wages, and hard labour. In this, plenty and satiety, pleasure and ease, liberty and power; and who would not balance creditor on this side, when all the hazard that is run for it, at worst is only a sour look or two at choking? No, a merry life and a short one shall be my motto."
- Bartholomew Roberts
A General History of the Robberies and Murders of the most notorious Pyrates (1724)

"Fear not the sea, for those born to hang will never drown."
- Ancient Proverb

Intro
Nassau 1715 is about the economic, social and power struggles that occurred in the West Indies during the early 18th century and the events leading to Golden Age of Piracy, telling the true and brutal story behind some of history's most notorious criminals who plundered the seas and the bold and determined men who hunted them down.

One of the biggest goals of Nassau 1715 is to immersion you in the early 18th century, so Nassau 1715 brings you several authentic weapons, uniforms, hats and equipment from this time period along with a map of Gun and Cat Cay but the most exciting part of this mod is being able to authentically sail either a sloop or a English frigate. While it's possible to play Nassau 1715 in single player it's much better if you collect your friends (or if you're a bit piratical you can press your friends) to join multiplayer games and serve on ships together and fight the common enemy. If you run a server please post it on our discord so others can join. You can also use our discord to recruit crew members.

Nassau 1715 isn't meant to be a full conversion but rather a very complicated proof of concept for this genre, so it doesn't include everything we would like and at the same time a few bugs and glitches.

Melee weapon support
Some melee weapons are only available when IMS is loaded (certain functionality limitations may apply due to RV engine limits).

Considerations while playing
Nassau 1715 brings authentic sailing ships to Arma. Sailing in real life is very complicated and complex so while we've greatly simplified the experience sailing in Nassau 1715 will be difficult. It's best to start off learning how to sail on the sloop and then move up to the frigate with a crew. In order to sail the ships Captains and Sailing Masters will needed along with a hardy crew that acts as one. To learn more about how to sail in Nassau 1715 please refer to the Sailing Manual, the sloop's quick sail reference and the frigate's quick sail reference.

During the broadside exchange between two large sailing ships, too much smoke is being generated—mainly from projectile trails and muzzle flashes—due to the large number of cannons. Please remove the projectile trail smoke (as in reality, cannonballs don’t leave smoke trails), and reduce the lifetime of the muzzle smoke effect. This will allow for a smoother experience when at least two ships are exchanging fire.

this is one of the best conversion mods in my opinion, and the sailing is awesome, but without godmode on my player, i keep dying from collision when i so much as touch the mast or steering wheel, i tried removing WMO but that didnt do anything
