[ Backward Compatibility ]  New Roads For Network Extension 2

READ REQUIRED CONFIGURATION BELOW. Also check out [ Backward Compatibility ]  Traffic++. It adds more roads that old assets/saves are frequently missing.

The original New Roads For Network Extension 2 mod is outdated, broken, and has been replaced by Network Extensions 2 itself. That doesn't mean that old assets/saves have been updated to work with newer versions of Network Extensions 2 though.

That's where this mod comes in. Use it to be able to load any assets/saves that used roads from New Roads For Network Extension 2. This provides all roads and fixes the zoning problems.

Make sure you've unsubscribed New Roads For Network Extension 2 for this mod to work.

Loading Screen Mod, Save Our Saves, and TM:PE have all been added as requirements because they highlight compatibility issues you'll otherwise run into loading old assets/saves. If you really don't want to be alerted to any compatibility issues and are absolutely sure your game is running perfectly then you can skip installing them.

Tiny:
- 2 lanes Oneway [G]
- 1 lane Oneway with 2 bicycle lanes [G]
- 1 lane Oneway with 1 bicycle lane and parking [G]
Small:
- 1 lane Oneway with 2 bicycle lanes and 2 parking [G]
Avenue:
- 4 lanes Road + 2 bus lanes with parking [Ground, Grass, Trees]
- 4 lanes Road with 4 parking [Ground, Grass, Trees]
[NEW] Wide 40m road:
- 4 lanes Road + 2 bus lanes + 2 bicycle lanes with parking [Ground, Grass, Trees]

In the Roads For NeExt 2 mod options disable the One-Lane Oneway With Two Bicycle Lanes under the Tiny tab (first tab, last option) except it you aren't using Network Extensions 2.

Consider installing Better Road Toolbar if you prefer having all roads sorted into width-based tabs. Disabling Keep custom road tabs generated by other mods or DLCs in the Better Road Toolbar mod options ensures all tabs are included.

If you are receiving unhelpful error messages loading older saves then you could try Extended Error Reporting. Do not submit your output logs to mod authors while using Extended Error Reporting as they might be incomplete.

Then after you've loaded your assets/saves you can use RON to change these roads to something else.

Once you're done you can safely leave this enabled so things don't break if you run into any other old assets/saves that used roads from New Roads For Network Extension 2.

Technically none of the required mods are hard requirements but installing this on its own doesn't make much sense.
