Description
Part of the Map Kit

This asset is included in the Map Kit collaborative collection by Searanger and st0m, along with other high quality map-making assets. Check it out!



The BoxFan asset can be placed on any table to create a Unity WindZone. You can toggle the WindZone on and off with the fan's power button and change it's strength by clicking any of the blue buttons.

Note that you must have assets on your table that can be affected by WindZones for this to have any visible effect.

If you're looking for compatible trees, grass, shrubs and other scene building assets then check out the Map Kit collection linked above.

Known issues:
  • Currently causes the chat window to appear whenever it gusts. This will be fixed.
  • The fan animation speed does not change for connected clients.

I have a Knight with a cloth flag. Do I need to make it a terrain in order for it to be affected by the Fan's wind zone?

works fine ...except the wind effect is inverted like its sucking air and not blowing it

Seems to be fine, I think it was an issue with my collection, thanks for the lua update though!

The asset loads fine for myself. Can anyone else confirm the issues Gel-Dragon was having?

I've also pushed a small update to the lua to stop the chat box popping up all the time.

Just a heads up, seems the model is currently broken. Getting continuous asset bundle errors now
