解説
The Abyssal Horror Miniboss mod is a roaming miniboss that can appear in champion(lv. 5) Cove quests.

First Encounter
There's a town event that occurs once the player has 4 lv 5 heroes and is past week 12. This town event triggers a medium length plot quest in the covethat has a guaranteed encounter with the Abyssal Horror. After completing this quest, the Abyssal Horror has an 8% chance to appear an any champion Cove quest.

Rewards
There are two trophy trinket you can obtain from fighting the Abyssal Horror:

-100% Torch burn rate if torch is below 50
-15 ACC


+ 35% DMG if any enemy is Human
+ 15% DMG if any enemy is Beast
+ 10% DMG if any enemy is Unholy
- 25% DMG if any enemy is Eldritch
+ 20% Stress

Set Bonus:
+ 15 ACC if torch is below 60
+ 15% Prot if torch is below 60

This mod is totally imbalanced, you need something like https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3144299757 to conquer which is totally meaningless. SO, DON'T INSTALL.

The first group, level 6, died.
On the second attempt, I assembled the most balanced party in my life.
But they retreated.

On the third attempt, I was prepared.
Bandages and antivenom, a rest stop with buffs before the boss.
But three consecutive turns of spam targeting a single character is harsh—plus bleeding and poison dealing 5 damage each.

I took away 3 of his souls and half his HP, but still lost 2 characters. However, I managed to retreat.

Encountered this thing for the first time as a roaming boss, and it absolutely trashed one of my level 6 characters, bringing them from full health to death's door in the 3(???) turns it got to do in the first round, and then killed them in the next round. Barely even got to understand how the boss works and had to retreat, because I'd hardly even done anything to it by that point.

Gonna uninstall for now. Definitely not a good first impression. DD is supposed to be hard, I know, but that was kinda ridiculous.

a roaming boss should be balanced, at max like thing from the star.

Bruh this boss is broken, absolutely no way to win unless you know exactly what it can do and have well-prepared specifically to fight it.

Do not download unless you have some very powerful custom classes install, as fighting it with vanilla heroes is nigh-impossible.

This boss is very poorly designed. It has decent art but there is no balance whatsoever.

If you insist on using this mod, either edit the stats yourself or wait for a third party rebalance patch. It's not worth installing otherwise

Wtf is this boss for real? It is not possible to beat him unless you have a stun to prevent him from spawning his familiar, which he strictly does every turn on his 1st action. This guy alone has practically screwed up my bloodmoon run before I figured out the things above.
