Description
Welcome to Medieval planet complete edition (biomes)

If anyone new to spawning planets in SE I made a video on how to spawn it (planet name is Medieval) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE_5QwIY8kg

Now with ACTUAL BIOMES. Space Engineers dated(2015) planets biomes is a scattered mess and it shows due to it being their first attempt at planets. Medieval Engineers made their planet with biomes in mind. Along with making it so that each biome controls what npcs spawn,ambient audio changes within the biome, and what resources spawn in the biomes. I got the planet to finally work in SE with its main files so everything should be close enough to how they appear in Medieval. Which means you can use the map if you have it on a LCD or something, or if Keen ever brings ME advance biome system or anything at this point into SE.

Biomes: Arctic,Tundra,Forest,Savannah,Dune Desert,Rocky Desert,Oasis, and Jungle

Planet info
This is a Earthlike planet made from Medieval Engineers. Enjoy driving around the world with its planet wide roads with no worries of Earthlike teeth terrain to kill you! There are points of interest like the Dragons Maw from the ME, plenty of places to build your base too. Build your lovely ships while basking in the clean sun light that ME has and not that nasty pee shine everyone is forced to deal with on Earthlike. Enjoy the sunset that actually changes from orange to purple instead of suddenly toxic green like Earthlike! Now get out there and have fun!

Resources
There is mounds of dirt around the planet with various resources and some ice too. There is now giant clusters of ice underground if you have your ore detector to max (50m) and close to the ground you should be able to spot them. To find ice in the desert you'll have to find any oasis. I tried to make Uranium rare and it should be deeper underground compared to the normal resources.You can also find resources along the roads or boulders on the surface!

NPCs
Still the same from the last time. Wolves and all kinds of supported custom modded npcs. Also I will be adding any modded npcs that get added to the game. IMPORTANT if you want Economy npc stations to spawn. You must add all your planets you want to have npcs first than enable economy and its a one time deal. Thanks Keen.

It needs updated that's why the ores aren't working right..
Been almost three years since the last update so some of the code has changed for planets.

having fun playing this world, built a rover base so i can drive around and explore. Can confirm lots of ghost ores. Uranium so far hasn't been there, and also a silver ore was fake. since I am mobile I just get my gold/silver from the boulders on the surface. still hoping to find a 'real' uranium deposit, would like to trade my hydrogen vehicles for planetary thrusters. I added trade stations and splitsy's assert mod and already ran into one so I guess that's another path. Thanks for the map.

Drove around the planet with 10KM size and found all except platinum within 10 minutes.

Man I love this planet but I can only find Fe-Si-Ni Ores, not even cobalt. Even with 1km Ore detectors, nothing. Interesting for a scrap themed playthrough, but sadly not what I'm looking for.

[Vanilla game with only this planet added to mod list.] Ok I can confirm that out of the 15 Uranium deposits we (team of 5 of us) drilled down to 9 of them were false deposits, it seems what should have been Uranium was replaced with the plain Stone voxel in the default ore configuration with the Uranium ore marker (Drill and Ore Detector) disappearing after reaching it, reappearing 10m+ away or disappearing completely if a large enough area is drilled out. This seems to be ONLY the Uranium as none of the other ore deposits we have checked were affected so its not something that should really effect anyone using it and this seemed to happen more in the custom Desert (Savanna, Rocky and Dune) biomes than the others. This is probably a Keen bug but still might be something you want to add to the description just in case.

Hi Ryukki, would you object if I included a modified version of the material maps from Medieval planet within my mod?

'Better Resources' adds 7 extra ore types to Space Engineers and has an add-on module 'Scarce Resources', which uses the material maps for ore distribution.

I would put an acknowledgement and link to 'Medieval planet' within the description of 'Scarce Resources'.
