DISCLAIMER: To use the mod, you will have to go back to 0.3.5, since the latest update changed how collisions work and the gears dont work anymore. To do that, go to the Properties of Scrap Mechanic, click on the Betas section, and select 0.3.5. You can then upgrade back by selecting NONE in the same location.

I've been asked many times to fix this mod, however I no longer have the source files, which isn't that much of an issue in itself, but I got out of modding ever since the creation of the mod, and nor do I remember how anything works anymore, but I also have no idea how the new collisions work, nor why its broken. So, sorry, but this mod is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 0.4 AND NEWER.


Basic gears, made by Acceless (YouTube)

Adapted to latest game versions and Steam Workshop by Google61, Remastered visuals by tmunited99.

The gears have actual ASG textures, which gives them shininess and reflection, and i got rid of that ugly texture and instead its just plain metal.

HUGE Thanks to Moonbo and kAN for making videos on this mod, and Moonbo for even starting a challenge themed around it!

Friend invite sent. If you're in Durf's Discord and he's not responded to posts, it might be worth sending him at least one DM (unless there's an explicit server rule not to)? I dunno, that's your call as I'm not on his Discord.

JSON code I'm not too familiar with, beyond tinkering with existing code (I had to figure a way to get the log book in my survival game, because the 2nd battery for the ship managed to de-spawn somehow)? I understand it follows similar rules to HTML, but beyond that I've very limited experience.

You mention collision boxes being off, though, if I've understood right? From my other modding, that sounds like it could be a modelling issue, perhaps, so maybe new models would help? Drop me a DM with a few details (model format, etc) I'll see if I can get my brain round it :-)

(This might be a long project, as I'm physically disabled, so don't get to my desk as often as I would like to at the moment - but I'll give it a good go)
