Introduces the Collector Vanguard
The Collector Vanguard is a new enemy that joins the fight against XCOM.

New Content
  • New Enemy: The Collector Vanguard will appear in the early-game as a traditional enemy.

    • Three Tiers: Standard, Prime, and Elite; arriving at later force levels.

Abilities
The Vanguard is a standard offensive unit that serves as the enemy's front line officer. Using an unique collector assault rifle, the vanguard can be a viable foe.
  • Force Level: 1

  • Collector Assault Rifle - The Vanguard's primary weapon

Additional Details
This will seamlessly integrate into a current or new campaign.

The enemy is fully customizable primarily within the configuration files "XCOM_Customize_This_Mod" and "XComGameData_CharacterStats"

they are set to 1 unit per group in the character stats maybe to increase that is the fix?

Yo this guy spawns by himself never a part of the pod or leading. How to fix this?

Yes, exactly. Just remove the semi colon ( ; ) out of the front of cat1. Semi colons will stop the ‘line’ from being ‘used’

so if I place the sitrep "AdventFieldTraining" which consists only of advent troopers in the "XCom_Sitrep_Categories.ini" in the multiple sitreps mod like this they will be more often pulled?

Good question. I don't believe there is a mod that exists currently that allows customization of spawn 'Weights' - the stat that affects how often an enemy appears. With this said, you can go into the base games 'XComEncounterList.ini' configuration file and update the spawn 'Weight' directly for the AdventTrooperM1 to be higher. Or, you could also use the multiple sitreps mod with its upcoming 'sitrep chance' feature to categorize your enemies to particular sitreps and have greater control over where and when these enemy factions appear.

where to increase the normal trooper in a pod ? I like your mods with their own research. Is there a way to increase it and not using your normalize mod ?

Is it intended behaviour that these guys show up as just regular followers in pods right from the get go? Seems a bit odd, not to mention difficult, to have 3 or 4 captains in a single pod.
