The Hercules is designed to operate as a lightly armed mobile mining facility, set up as both a PAM Controller to manage its two mining ships and a SAM Station for two autopiloted cargo shuttles and a personal shuttle.

Ships recommended for use with the Hercules can be found in the ISL Small Grid Miners collection and the Callisto Cargo drones colletion.

The Q variants have hangars that fit two Quarry miners from the collection linked above, while the T variants fit two Tunnel miners.

All six ships have Auxiliary Hydrogen thrusters. For the Rover variants, this is used to drive up steeper slopes (especially with cargo) and for the Atmospheric variants this is used to escape planetary gravity, as they can fly with a full cargo without using hydrogen.
