Dark UI Retexture

Opis
Version 1.1

A very simple retexture of the Vanilla UI to go with Dark UI (by Eldryn1). Requires Dark UI to function properly.

INTRODUCTION

I liked the design and dark tone that Dark UI (by Eldryn1) provided, but wasn't satisfied with the plain and minimalist style that the mod offered, as I didn't think it fit Kenshi's aesthetic. So I made it my goal to make a simple retexture of the UI so that I could use Dark UI and still have the "feel" of the vanilla UI. This is the result.

All this mod does is:

-Replace figure.png and kenshi_UI.png with my own versions.
-Revert loading_screen1 (which was changed by Dark UI into an in-game screenshot) to its original look (Bonedog concept art).

That's it.


INSTALLATION

1. Subscribe to Dark UI and Dark UI Retexture.
2. Make sure that Dark UI Retexture is lower in the load order than Dark UI.

Unfortenatly some text like charfacter stats are black for me? so i cant properly see them.... any ideas what can cause this?)

@Allan Marques Feel free to do so. I haven't played Kenshi in a while, so I've unfortunately let this mod into the dustbin for some time.

This mod looks great cuz It captures Kenshi's state of decay after a thousand years. It also feels lightweight since it removes most of the black outline from the game windows.

@Rozdear, do you mind if I modify your mod? I'll change the HP bars' color because it lacks contrast. With reshaders on, it's tricky to assess limb health quickly.

The boxes look great. However, for some reason, the text is also colored dark, so I can't read anything on the menus and I had to turn it off.
Only using Compressed textures pack, Dark UI, and this mod. I tried fidgeting around with the mod load order to no avail.

I like it a lot, however some of the font is still too dark for me it was hard to read. For example, the explanations windows to understand an order the background of the window and the font were similar colors so its hard to read. Also, the construction requirements window is messed up and looks like overlapping. Overall, an amazing UI theme, I think just these slight changes would make it perfect. Great job !

btw this mod is nice for overriding other UIs since it keeps the vanilla feel, and it's my favorite Dark UI :)
