According to the description, this mod adds a new system type: a black hole, in which these new planet types spawn within. Last I checked, TrueSpace never added any black hole star systems, whereas my own expansion mod for TrueSpace, TrueSpace Expanded - Stars, did (plus white dwarfs, neutron stars, red giants, and even some stellar objects that shouldn't hypothetically exist until far into the future, which I had also provided custom planet pools for that might be of interest to you).
I also have another mod for TrueSpace called the Somewhat Realistic Star Distribution for TrueSpace and RealSpace, which makes rarer stellar objects, like short-lived main sequence stars, neutron stars, and black holes, rarer, which you may also want to keep in mind if you have plans about adding new star types to TrueSpace.
