Description



DESCRIPTION

This series of mods aims to complete and expand the rosters of various races by adding loreful units while taking some liberties and artistic licence in the process. We try to choose the best units based on variety, usefulness on the battlefield and overall fun.

COMPATIBILITY

- It should be compatible with everything as it is just a units mod.
- All units are balanced for vanilla.

NOTES

- This mod implements a bug fix that prevented all Savage Orc units to be affected by the Greenskin tech tree, so you don't need an additional mod for that.
- The Big Bosses share the cap with the Black Orc Big Boss.

@Decomposed: I am playing a Gorbad campaign and I noticed some issues with the additional units/characters and Da Planz:
- Savage Orc warboss doesn't get access to Da Planz (everything is locked)
- The additional heroes (orc big bos/savage orc big boss...) don't count in the 3 characters requirements for the "Regimental" plan (which is one of the best one)
- Orc big boss doesn't allow to slot the "lead the charge" Plan to activate (only the Black Orc Big Boss does). I would think that melee orc characters on a boar should all grant the Plan.

Would it be possible to make a pass at the Planz and perhaps allow for alternative requirements fitting the new units?

@Decomposed Yeah, they did! Not many, but some. You could check TotalWarhammerPlanner for them or just start a Greenskins campaign and recruit characters to look at them. I believe only River Troll Hags and maybe Night Goblin Warbosses didn't get anything at all, the rest either got a few isolated skills or a skill line. There might also be some stuff hidden away in the game files according to said planner, but I don't know how accurate that is.

I would like to second what ss7877 and miniaaar have said. The Savage Orc Big Boss is the odd one out and should preferably be recruited from the Savage Orc building.
On a different note, are you planning to add unique personal skill lines on par with the ones most Greenskins characters got with Omens of Destruction?
