What the Heck is this?



This Addon places a bunch of simplified TACAN (or VOR) Stations all over the Map. They transmit there Position on a respective Frequency. (Range: 960 to 1215 MHz)
You can get a list of Frequencies by typing ?tacan. The X Coordinate is transmitted on Composite Channel 1 and the Y Coordinate on Channel 2.
By comparing the Coordinates with the Coordinates of your own Vehicle you can calculate a Heading and Distance to the Station.
Using a huge Antenna the Range is around 40km.
Note that this Addon is partially compatible with Sky's Navigational Equipment.

How to install?

1. Subscribe
2. Create a new World
3. While doing that navigate to the Enviroment Tab / Workshop
4. Activate TACAN BEACONS v1
5. Start your World
6. press ENTER to open the Chat Window, you should see a confirmation that it is active, alternatively type ?tacan
