Melee Weapons Pack

Beskrivning
This mod features a number of brand new melee weapons to add to your submarine arsenal, including hand-drawn sprites and custom sound effects.

The mode includes:

  • Boarding Blade

    A decent melee weapon, standing between the Diving Knife and the Boarding Axe. It features both the good reach and damage, making it a perfect choice for the midgame. Can be both crafted through Swole talent (Security Guard) or bought on Military outposts.

    Stats:
    Lacerations [23]
    Bleeding [20]
    Stun 0.3s
    Craft:
    1 Steel Bar
    1 Carbon
    Requires Swole talent
    Requires 50 Weapons skill
    20 seconds base duration

  • Hardened Boarding Blade

    A hardened weapon version, unlocked via the Hard Hitter talent (Engineer).

    Stats:
    Lacerations [30]
    Bleeding [10]
    Radiation Sickness [1]
    Armor penetration: 30%
    Stun 0.3
    Craft:
    2 Depleted Fuel
    1 Boarding Blade
    Weapons 50
    Requires Hard Hitter talent

  • Vibroblade

    A rare star-marked saber, which can be found on wreckages. It delivers deadly blows, yet requires Battery Cells to function properly.

    Stats:
    [No battery]
    Lacerations [15]
    Bleeding [10]
    Stun 0.1s

    [Battery Cell - enough for 4 hits]
    Lacerations [35]
    Bleed [25]
    Stun 0.3s


  • Steel Maul

    A heavy two-handed weapon, focused on dealing Blunt Force Trauma damage, while pushing back and stunning enemies on hit. Can be crafted via the Stonewall talent (Security Guard).

    Stats:
    Blunt Force Trauma [40]
    Armor penetration: 90%
    Stun 2s
    Attack Speed 0.75
    Craft:
    2 Steel Bars
    Weapons 55
    30 second base craft duration
    Requires Stonewall talent

  • Sheathbelt
    Special belt with an additional melee-exclusive item slot. While having fewer item slots than the Toolbelt (4+1 melee-exclusive), it also increases melee damage and attack speed when worn. It will be accessible via Multifunctional talent (Mechanic).

    Stats:
    1 Melee-exclusive* slot
    4 Small item slots
    +15% Melee Damage when worn
    +15% Melee Attack speed when worn
    Craft:
    1 Ballistic Fiber
    1 Iron
    Mechanical 30
    Weapons 20
    20 seconds base crafting time
    Requires Multifunctional talent


  • Hunting Belt

    Special belt item. While having fewer item slots than the Toolbelt (4), it provides a chance to loot additional material from slain monsters, when worn. Accessible via Scavenger talent (Security Officer).

    Stats:
    4 Small item slots
    25% chance to find additional loot on monsters
    Craft:
    1 Organic Fiber
    2 Iron
    30 Weapons
    Requires Scavenger talent (Security Officer)


Things to be done:
  • Mod Translation

    We are planning to translate our mod into German, Chinese and Spanish. If you are interested in helping and can speak English or Russian, please contact us.

  • More weapons

    Not guaranteed, but we have ideas for several more weapons, including pirate-exclusive ones, so there is a fair chance they make it into the mode eventually.

Привет, такое дело не было возможности создать абордажный клинок из-за того, что требовался рецепт, который никак не получить, я пофиксил, берите в команду))), а если серьёно я не понял что за рецепт и тупо requeresrecipe заменил на false, это я чет не понимаю или реально такого рецепта просто не существует?

Boarding blades, and perhaps all weapons in this pack, hit every single entity in the swings damage zone. Is this intended behavior? Vanilla melee weapons can only hit 1 target per swing.

Granted it was very funny playing an exosuit husk with 2 blender swords running into 20 human enemies i spawned, but its rather unbalanced. Also impossible to not kill friendly bots when the sub gets boarded.

Call me crazy, but you know those big old tubes you see police use to break down doors with?
What if there was an item like that but instead of a giant steel tube it's one giant capacitor? Sort of a one-and-done stun baboon?

Or perhaps some sort of pike with a hook on the end to hold onto larger creatures letting you friends lay into them while you keep the creature at bay.

Now I know this has nothing to do with Fallout, but seeing the Boarding Blade reminded me of the Bumper Sword from New Vegas. Would you be able to add a two-handed sword Slashinator?
