Here we are with another Nurgle rotting and disgustig mod, after some big monseters, this time have been added some heavy flankers, another meatshield cause I like zombies and this kind of stuff... and another big monster, cause why not?!

DISCLAIMER
As always, not everything is perfectly lorefiendly, but I make units I find cool!


WHAT THIS MOD DOES?

This mod adds 4 new units:
-Pox Walkers
-Mutated Beasts
-Plague Crushers
-Twisted Behemoth

These units are added to:
-Nurgle Monogod faction (Ku'Gath, Epidemius, Tamurkhan);
-Archaon and Festus WoC factions;
-Daniel, Daemon Prince faction (Daemons of Chaos).
-update: now they are avaiable also for Archaon the Everchosen

The Twisted Behemoth is added also to Beastmen factions.


The new units can be recruited from Nurgle Major Settlement for Daniel.

IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-IMPORTANT-
For Festus, Archaon, Nurgle and Beastmen factions I copied the recruitment mechanic from Trajann "Beasts of Khorne", Festus does gain access to these units, but the system is a little different. They are recruited via the RoR panel, and will unlock once a lord reaches certain levels. You can recruit as many of them as you like, however you will have to wait for their capacity to fill up.

To avoy the "adding unit to Tamurkhan" crash, these units are available to him from 2nd turn.

WHAT LITTLE WANDERS ARE HIDDEN IN THIS MOD?

- POX WALKERS:
"Some poxes can infect the brain of the contamined, depriving them of any will, except to spread the contagion."

Basically zombies with Mark of Nurgle, Regeneration, Poison and Cloud of Flies, they are still undead.

It's recruitable with Nurgle Major Settlement lvl.1 for and Daemon of Chaos.
For Nurgle factions, Festus and Archaon it's unlocked at level 1.

-MUTATED BEASTS
"The corrupted woods are infested with corrupted beasts."

I wanted more Beastmen style units for Nurgle, in addition to the ones from other mods, so what other units in Beastmen roster are more in line with Nurgle than Razorgors?
So Razorgors with Regeneration, Mark of Nurgle, Poison and Cloud of Flies.

It's recruitable with Nurgle Major Settlement lvl.3-4-5 for Daemon of Chaos.
For Nurgle factions, Festus and Archaon it is unlocked at level 10.

-PLAGUE CRUSHERS
"Long time ago, a group of ogre raiders tried to breach the Great Bastion by throwing corpses of people who died of a strange plague, but, unsurprisingly, this tactic turned against them."

If Plague Ogres exist in Warhammer lore, why not Plague Crushers?
Crusher with Great Weapon, with little less damage potential, but Mark of Nurgle, Poison and Cloud of Flies.
A good anti-large cavalry.

It's recruitable with Nurgle Major Settlement lvl.5 for Daemon of Chaos.
For Nurgle factions, Festus and Archaon it is unlocked at level 23.

-TWISTED BEHEMOTh
"Sometimes a hungry Minotaur can feast on a cursed village, drawn by the diabolical energy and driven mad by the frenzy of the dark powers. This wicked feast can change his body beyond imagination."

This is a really big one: Stonehorn with Mark of Nurgle, Poison; Cloud of Flies, Bloodgreed and Gorefeast.

It's recruitable with Nurgle Major Settlement lvl.5 for Daemon of Chaos.
For Nurgle factions, Festus Archaon and Beastmen it is unlocked at level 30.


Is all of this balanced? Does Nurgle needs a bigger and angrier Stonehorn? I don't care. I just hope you will enjoy this wonder team as I do.

5.0.3 UPDATE:
- The units are available to Nurgle Faction (Ku'Gath, Epidemius and Tamurkhan) via RoR panel, and will unlock once a lord reaches certain levels. You can recruit as many of them as you like, however you will have to wait for their capacity to fill up.

- To avoy the "adding unit to Tamurkhan" crash, these units are available to him from 2nd turn.

- Twisted Behemot is now available to Beastmen too via RoR as for other factions (it will cost you recruitment cost and upkeep, but it is a strong unit)

-Plague Crusher now use Plague Ogre model from my Nurgle Rotting Reskin Mod

- Now all model will become covered with blood in battle, I fixed the blood problem and now this mod works fine with Blod DLC

FINAL DISCLAIMER
This is my second unit mod and I chose some of the factions with the toughest recruiting mechanics, so be patient if not everything is perfect. I will listen to your advice and try to solve any problems, if any.

theres a glitch for the twisted behemoth model where its spines go crazy and turn into spaghetti lol

@Pavukaeb Pox Walkers glitch should be fixed

The Pox Walkers model is broken. When the camera approaches, the clothes on the model begin to glitch. Only this mod is worth it. What could be the matter?

And while it's totally cool not to include your Festus reskin in the comp, you gotta admit that the idea to include it but do it in a way that still allows users to overwrite these changes without the need for a submod etc. was pretty (rot) fly... ;) Anyway, I'm thankful you reacted to my suggestions this way. Maybe split the unit list up between units that go to Nurgle vanilla factions and ones that go to Nurgle and Beastmen vanilla factions.... However you do it is up to you, just thinking of the best way so visitors can grasp concepts at a glance which is always the best as they're lazy <3
