Description: After some time, the strange creature will stop flying and shrink its wings down to tiny fin-things, while the fin-things it had before grow into legs. Its luminous stalk eyes are getting weaker, and its primitive eyespot on what we assume is its back (if a creature with this sort of body plan even has something that can be considered a back) is getting stronger.
