Greetings fellow mod enjoyers!

I grant to thee - A translation mod for your collection.

Ingame screenshots shows translated names, text and so on.

I have not created the main mod that are listed under requirements, only this submod translating the original Chinese to English. Gratitude to the original modders for their stunning work.

What The Mod Does
  • Translates text, names and so on from Chinese to English. Well, I mostly changed all the texts to something I found related to lore or to their theme, as a lot of Google translate is gibberish.
  • Added 'green text' under the portraits, the abilities, that they did not have in the original mod. I chose abilities based on their aesthetics, lore, theme and vanilla counter parts.
  • Added custom texts for skills and items that is not yet created in the original mod.
  • Added faction effects to Byrnoth, Greybeard, Alrik, Rorek, Bugman and Sven in regards to what I found made sense to their lore or theme.
  • I gave Byrnoth, Alrik, Rorek, Greybeard and Sven custom starting armies that I found thematic to them.

Considerations
  • I am neither a native English or Chinese/Mandarin speaker. Feel free to add corrections/suggestions in the comment section and I will give a look.
  • I used Google translate and added/changed what I think sounded more sensical in English. Further changes could be made.
  • Factions effects for the lords is also shown in character abilities, that is because it would not apply in any other case with the original mod. You do not get the effects twice, it is simply there to show what I added.
  • I believe the original modders removed their take on Kazador and Burlok, as those are added by Mixu's lords mod. I am fairly certain that their Garagrim is replced with vanilla and lastly I was unable to activate Thorin. This means I left those 4 untouched in the files, let me know if you actually get them, so I can fix their texts. etc.

@farsani - This mod is a translation but also adding/adjusting some minor stuff as mentioned per description.

Thanks for the translations! :steamhappy: I would like to ask if it's possible to have a standalone mod for the Greybeards factions since I also use different Dawi Faction mods that also conflicts with some of the factions added.

Hey @RagnaroK, the vanilla text of the Grudge mechanic, sorry for not being clear enough about it. And of course, you don't have to do it, I was just wondering if you'd like to. :)

Just to be certain of what it is exactly you ask for here, I need to match the vanilla text in the Grudge mechanic or the recruit defeated lord mod? :WH3_psycology:

2. I'm testing stuff out with the Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords mod, and it seems that, for some reason, when you acquire these lords through that mod, they have no names. I don't know why, everything else seems to be working fine, their names are just missing. But I guess it doesn't make much sense to play with that mod since these lords were added to the Great Book of Grudges confederation mechanic
3. Speaking of, the text in-game for that mechanic is "Confederates <LL full name>'s faction (if perished, <LL first name> is added to your Lord pool)", while your text says "Alliance with <LL full name>'s faction (If <LL first name> is wounded, he will be added to your legendary lord recruitment pool)". Could you maybe switch your text to match the vanilla text? :)
