Important Info

This mod is an addon to the original mod created by 小铭 and their team. It an expansion that introduces new features while preserving the core experience of the original. All credit for the foundation of this mod goes to the original author.

I made this expansion as a personal project to dive into modding. I’ve packed in as many features as I could to practice different techniques and pick up new skills along the way. Because of this, the addon still needs some balancing and tweaks, and there might be a few bugs here and there. I’m relying on your feedback to help improve and refine the mod.

Please note that if the original author requests it, I will delete this mod immediately out of respect for their work.

New Features

Vanilla ADDON - Update 01 28/8/2024

  • Added Extra Trait to Harald Goldbeard: Introducing a new trait for the Legendary Lord, enhancing their unique abilities.
  • Support More Factions: Expanded the mod to include support for all Dwarfs factions, broadening the gameplay options. Including Cataph's Kraka Drak, and two kislev factions for fun {Highly recommended), The Ice Court, and Ursun Revivalists.
  • Increase Recruit: The majority of original mod units can be recruited from Vanilla building (TESTING)
  • Redesigned Horde Buildings: Completely revamped the horde building system with 8 new buildings across 4 sets, featuring 33 different effects. The horde has now 18 slots.
  • New Army Skills: Added 3 new skills to enhance your army’s capabilities.
  • Units Skills: Added the Norse skills to units from Cataph's Kraka Drak.
  • Expanded Skill Levels and Effects: Introduced 8 skill levels and 10 new skill effects to deepen character progression. I did not include new skills to keep the mod compatible with other skill mods in the workshop.
  • New Items and Set Effects: Added 2 new items along with a complete set effect to boost gameplay.
  • Small change to LL and units: Increase the number of goat rider to 60, add weapon and projectile contact to LL, lord's mount and Guards.

Recommended Mods

The following mods is recommended but not must:
  • Cataph's Kraka Drak: the Norse Dwarfs: To enjoy the units with one of the best mods in the workshop.
  • ChopChop Skill Modpacks: Works beautifully and bring more skills to Harald Goldbeard.

Bugs and Future Work

  • LL's name is not visible when playing with Kislev factions, and the Hall building needs a Kislev-specific reclusive effect.
  • Multiplayer unit cost.
  • Not LORE FRIENDLY and ChatGPT made most of these item/building names.

Truly appreciated friend, actually your mod hasn't much to update apart from a few tables, nothing game breaking (just the sanity of those who hate seeing yellow triangles :WH3_greasus_rofl:).

I'm actually making two versions. A standalone so yours can be used alongside it, in hind-sight of your return to this project. Your expertise is far advance than mine in this field after all.

And another that incorporates your work where I can tweak with my own settings, as part of my anti-bloat attempt to cut down on my 400+ mods list. Credit will still be appointed to you of course.

Hi @OHM you have my permission but I would prefer if you can update my work in a separate mode so when I come back I can continue my work and improve upon it and my work don’t get lost with the original mod
