hello!
It's been so long since I uploaded a mod, and a unit mod for that matter. Felt like working on the good ol days back in WH1 where Unit mods were my norm.

Well let's see what you think about this one!

What does this Mod do?
  • Adds a unit of Ogre Labourers to the Chaos Dwarf roster.
  • Adds a unit of Ogre Labourers to the Chaos Dwarf garrisons roster (replacing some labourers and cutthroats).
  • Adds a unit of Ogre Labourers to the Chaos Dwarf rebellion roster.

Some Info
The unit fulfills a anti large supporting meat-shield role, wearing large armour piercing hammers with bonus vs large potential, while still not truly being able to stand toe to toe with equal measured units.

My testing has been fairly fruitful. The Ogre Labourers does OKish versus 550 cost Ogre Bulls. Having bonus vs large can make then win some fights, but on average it felt like a tie. Ogre labourers simply lack staying potential enough to not be routed quicker than expected.

Though I admit, there probably is some further stat tweaks needed. As their potential as a Meat Shield is somewhat dubious.

Currently no known issues.

Compatibility
I DON'T make my mods with SFO, Radious or other overhauls in mind!!
Faily savegame compatiable. Although a rebuild of garrison buildings for the units to be applied is in order.

I went for 28 because I went for percentage based on other laboureres. Compare Goblin and Orc labourers with their counterparts. :) 32 might be a number to think of too, but they'd have to be nerfed to compensate.

Lovely addition, though the unit size makes me scratch my head somewhat.
Why 28? Why not 32 or 48? 32 would be twice the number of higher-tier Ogre infantry and 48 would be twice the number of regular Ogre Bulls. I would suggest going with 48 and maybe weakening them a little if need be.

Glad you adopted this mod! I'm using another mod that gives lords the horde building panel, anyway to allow the unit to be recruited from that panel?

Hm, you'd likely have to change his animation into something else. Which will conflict with other mechanics of Malus'. I'd not give him a shield, but maybe an animation wizard could

He uses one in the books after all.
