Description
Hello this is a fully modded and balanced (ALL the parameters affecting combat not just doubling the units) X2 unit size to be played in ULTRA unit SIZE for SFO balanced at very hard.



First of the SFO Hardcore collection of mods. I updated and stripped other of hardcore series that will be added in other mods and updated here in steam it as some of you asked me. Also all are in the collection above the text

I like to play chanelling loreful and when possible with good immersion as some of you used my last collection, the problem is unit size is immersion breaking with very small units even in ultra looking like skirmishes instead of battles. X2 is a good compromise between immersion and performance.

This is not JUST DOUBLE THE UNITS but it requires to modify much more to get a balanced game like vanilla SFO in ultra unit size:

Rebalanced for all vanilla and all SFO units updated to the last DLC 26:

a) UNIT size x2 for all except SINGLE UNITS, HEROES, LORDS...

b) Double health for all the units so the endurance is the same

c) Single unit damage upped to double so they don't underperform (melee and ranged also single unit warmachines)

d) All units values direct damage for the calculations scaled to same balance as vanilla ultra SFO

e) All unit and faction battle requisites for buffs like kill x to activate doubled)

f) All other requisites for units killed doubled.

g) Health of scenario buildings, damage... doubled

h) Health regen nerfed at 40% of nominal value to avoid immortality of some units.

i) Mass of large units and cavalry units increased around 50-60% so the charge effect is similar than in vanilla ultra SFO (after many test seem the best range)


NOTES:
Doubling some artillery is an acceptable fix to balance but there is a better way changing stats, but that is for future mods of the collection

Should be compatible with many other mods but if they add units they will not be balanced.

I stripped the other features (missile rebalance, another extra units) so you can use this barebones mod, the other for a good Hardcore gameplay will be released the next weeks.

The first thins added will be some units for extramods (mixus legendary, and other must have content) stuff that will be balancing manually), also another loreful mod that will rebalance all the factions number of units

More finetuning as I update the other stuff and receiving feedback

This is crashing arkhan the black expanded tested with only them to enabled crash happens when you start a battle in campaign as arkhan

That is the thing with these types of mods you need to wait for the main submod, the the other sub-submods and then this one. a PITA but it is temporary, CA started losing money and projects, so they scrambled to "continue TTW3 support" due to bad decisions. So they will keep updating it until the next big game comes up. Probably 1 and half or two years, each time with more delays. So maybe more 3 - 4 "big patches" and then they drop it and we can actually do intensive work

Yes I will start today, as the SFO update was yesterday, at least the ones updated. Will see if others needs updates or a quick fix

@Eve because I balance it playing in Ultra unit size, and very hard difficulty those two are ingame options not SFO, also I added inside some difficulty adjustment to SFO like the regen or magic, but still i am rechecking the values.

Hi, Wymar, thanks a lot for the reply earlier.
May I know if there is a planned date that you may release the submod for Mixu's legendray lords? I'm eager to start a new playthrough with all the awesome mods you've created so far.
