Back by Popular demand, The Fabled Tier One Overhaul.

I need to Level with you guys here
It was an undertaking and a half to Port this to 1.0, This mod has changed hands twice and I got dealt a pretty bad hand with 1.0's changes.

I tried my Best to make it not overwrite things as much as I can and to make sure all the Classes have most of the Equipment they had before if they are missing anything big let me know and I will look into it.

To get to the Nitty Gritty, I have fundamentally changed the way Tier One Overhaul works.
It doesn't overwrite the Vanilla Rangers at all, It may add equipment to them and the other Squads,
But it doesn't remove any or Overwrite any.

When you go to make a Squad you will find a separate Tier One Rangers that you can create instead.

NSWDG is still here too, I'm not super confident in their Equipment Binds but It seems to be in order from what I can tell.

Will I be adding more Content.
The Short answer is no, and the Long answer is Hell No.

My intention never was and never will be to add more Content to Tier One Overhaul but to get it ported to 1.0 and in a mod compatible state to this end you can consider the mod Complete as I believe I have achieved that.

Tier One Overhaul is not my mod, I am merely the Maintainer, Tier One at this point is almost exactly how Miller Intended it to be, albeit with a few changes specifically with regards to Tier One Overhaul no longer Overwriting the Vanilla game, it still adds a couple weapons here and there but It now is compatible with most if not All mods.

As long as I am apart of the DK2 Community I will try to keep it up to date and working with the latest version of Door Kickers 2.

I have my own Original mods I want to work on, as well as a Tutorial Series for creating Mods for DK2, I already have a very basic Unit Tutorial pinned in the mod_discussion channel in the discord, I do a lot of yapping in it but It should be good enough to get you started.

mod completely breaks the trooper upgrade system (you can use medals to boost attack or defence of each trooper). also mod messes up with UI, especially main menu and squad menu

This mod is effectively on life support and has been long before I brought it to 1.0.

Miller has been out of the DK2 Scene for a very very long time, Frankly speaking this is more of a preservation of the mod than an actual continuation/successor.

This mod will not be updated unless something game breaking is found whether by the game updating or otherwise.

My only purpose is to maintain the mod for the foreseeable future, my apologies to anyone seeking more from Tier One Overhaul.

The mod is good how ever. I have one simple complaint. The plate carrier models and gun models are pretty low quality. ARES models and rifle squad have detailed gear models. As someone who uses dev mode in game like many others to have cinematic replays at eye or ground level I would highly appreciate if MSF Miller adds different new detailed models for plate carriers. That's it. You can copy and paste them for different games or whatnot into this mod I don't know. How ever Miller should really try and make the mod look better visually speaking. Other than that great mod!

Because the Gas is technically just extra suppression, not actually Gas, Also the content of the Mod is what the original mod had, No more, No less

i dont know if its just me but the ranger black ops units helmet is kinda messed up with textures glitching everywhere on the helmet
