Its been a few years since I have posted any updates regarding the development of this map. Between college, work, and general burnout I've found it difficult to get myself to work on the map. As with all projects I start I eventually come back around and finish them. So who knows, maybe I'll eventually get around to actually finishing this map.

This is a roleplay map I am currently working on. I call it Metro. I decided to start making this map due to the lack of nice roleplay maps that have all the things necessary for good roleplay. Production started in December (2014) and I have been working on and off on it.

Bank Features

Known Issues

• Jail cell doors rotate the wrong way.
  
• Front bank doors open improperly. (Fixed in next update)
  
• PD Ceiling Lights aren't all in the ceiling
  
• Bank breakroom has floating objects.
  
• Secondary bank vault opens the wrong way.
  
• Main bank vault door plays the opening sound when it fully closes.
  
• Window decals are missing on the corner brick building and show as purple squares

FAQ

Q:
Do I need any games or workshop addons for this map?
A:
Nope! All the models and textures should be packed into the map itself. Just subscibe and play! No need for CSS, EP1/EP2, or LFD2!

Q:
Whoa whoa whoa why did you rip the PD from paralake?
A:
As I've said many times in the comments, Paralake is a inspiring map. The PD alone was pretty fricken cool. I did not "rip" or haven't decomplied the map. Everything so far has been 100% Classic Hammer. I've spent tons of hours making the PD better than it was in paralake, from the textures that I use, to the optimizations that I implament. Will I give credit where credit is due? Of Course! I would feel hell'a guilty if I didnt say thanks and leave name's in the credit. I just havn't done so because this is not the official releasee of the map, simply just a way for people to view my progress. At lets face it, Paralake was a pretty unoptimized ;)

Q:
Can you include blank into the map?
A:
Maybe! If it fits in with a inner city theme and feel then I will consider it. Things like beaches or farms won't be added to the map. Only city themed stuff like airports or stores, etc.

Q:
When do you plan to release this map?
A:
Well, I don't know. I guess it will be done when it's done. My estimate is a couple months at the earliest.
