Blindrun

Guess this is the first one that I didn’t end up playing, it wasn’t greyed out in my queue. And I certainly don’t remember it. (I might have entered it before but I don't think I ever ended up completing it.)

Can’t say I’ve seen a chamber make use of both gels AND pellets before. Interesting combo, and well done overall.

I will say that I have no clue why the button the cube’s on in the upper area doesn’t have an antline linkage to the piston that blocks the pedestal button for the orange gel. Obviously the player knows they need to get behind the piston to activate something since there’s an antline that goes behind it, but without a clear link between the cube button and the piston the player may just aimlessly wander around, not quite knowing what to do first, until they experiment with trying to get over there and discover taking the cube off the button was the key all along. The passageway to get in there in the first place also isn’t super well-highlighted and I could easily imagine someone thinking that a panel will open up for them if they fiddle around with some other elements and that area might not be meant to be accessed until later in the test, if they miss the one that’s already open, hidden in a dark upper corner.

It’s also strange that the piston pushes back out once the player’s beside the button – I don’t really see any reason for this, and it’s probably technically possible to get trapped if you place two portals on the one surface inside of there.

Also, I feel like the antline to deactivate the fizzler blocking the pellet isn’t obvious enough, being tucked far up into a ceiling corner, and I completely missed it at first, seriously thinking that I needed to do some insane ninja bounce across the gap while portalling the pellet to its catcher.

I think those glasses have the purpose to go back and are not part of the actual solution.

Okay so I don't get why there is orange gel in this test ^^ The blue gel is more than enough to complete it as you can jump on the glasses to reach the exit ;)
