Alani Nomads

This mod replaces the generic German units in the Alani faction with Steppe units. All unique Alan units are still available (all Sarmation, Agathyrsi, units, etc) as well as Germanic Nobles. Several Steppe spear, bow, and mounted units replace them. The Alans have had their garrisons reworked to reflect their new roster.

All units are recruitable in Custom games (though I have not removed any Germanic units from the Alani Custom games, as I figured people may still want to experiment with them) as well as in the Grand campaign and have been set to be recruitable or upgradeable based upon a system that I believed was balanced.

This mod is fairly historically accurate, as the Alans were originally more eastern nomadic peoples, and would have been far less "Germanic" than their fellow Great Migrators.

This mod should ONLY affect the Alans, and not be too intrusive with other mods. You shouldn't have to start a new game, but I highly recommend it. You WILL start out with several Germanic units, as I don't plan on changing the start_pos data for only one faction, I suggest getting rid of them and replacing them ASAP. Likewise all naval units are still Germanic, as the Nomads have no navy to speak of, unique naval units pack might be added later.

This mod CAN be used without the Alani Land Units mod.
