This is probably broken and will not work anymore. It will not be maintained anymore.

You are tired of losing your inventory when you disconnect from a server without entering a cryo chamber first?

This is solved now!

This mod will save your inventory when you leave the server and restore it when you join. Also, if you choose a respawn ship instead of a medical station your inventory won't be loaded and deleted on the server. Further, the stored inventory is bound to your player identity. This means that with permanent death enabled you'll loose your inventory if you can't spawn at a medbay.

The files that stores the inventories will be saved along with the world. If the server would crash or experience any kind of rollback, the inventories are from the time when the server saved the last time.

If you experience any bugs please report them and provide the game log.
Currently, stable and dev are supported.

this is hardly vanilla, vanilla doesn't restore on crashes and it only works for the character save disconnect period(by default on a server its 15 minutes) after that its inventory deleted,
would still love to see this updated or the fixed version reuploaded,
