All Food and Indoor Farming Mod

Description
You import an army. And somehow, despite being ill-prepared and not being able to produce food, you manage to survive and create a huge farm. Only problem: spamming food into your guys and spamming food creation so that food is maintained for 65 guys. This mod helps solve a few of these issues, and more!

Single use cooking stove: You got stoves that only produce one type of food, so need to break your mouse. It comes with its own individual food basket (has to be used if you want to food pack it). Its color coded!

Single use food packer: Condenses 4 food items into one. Makes it easier to feed and forget, especially with big groups. Requires its own food type basket, the characters won't pick up ingredients from general food basket. Also color coded!

Multi-use food packer: Does the same thing as the others, its just all food packers rolled into one (works like the game's cooking stove).

Indoor farming: Advanced versions of the indoor or hydropronic farms that currently exist in game. Reworked it to relfect an improvement compared to before, with a lot of tinkering to make it not cheatish but desirable. There are two new levels, invented by the tech faction, to help improve yields even further. But be warned, they are more energy and water intensive, and are quite expensive to build!

Note: You will need mods that produce AI cores for the last level of indoor farms, either look for one that will suite your needs or use the following one by Hammer (used to be FireDrake but he discountinued updating it) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1392588022 or one I made that also adds support to all features of this mod, like tables for producing gears, etc, found here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1162388415, a combination of both mods might prove useful, as mine I know is more intensive on the AI cores front.

Fish farms: Now you can farm indoors or outdoors thinfish in just about anyplace. Not affected by fertilities, only water, energy and food.

Fish drying racks: Allow the conversion of raw fish into dried fish food.

Automated Grain Silos: Need I say more? Requires gears and electricity!

Higher tiers of bread ovens, produce bread faster.

Wells IV-VI that are double/quadruple/eight-times the capacity of Well III, though watch the electricity usage!

What it MODIFIES:
Cooking Tech, Desert Cooking Tech and Advanced Cooking Tech (not groundbreaking for updates) as well as modified to a reasonable level the amount characters can harvest in a day under the indoor cotton and cactus farms, because it was too low compared to all the other indoor farms made by the developper (20->140 compared to the other farms where thge developer set them to 250). It also made some modification to resources allocations to fertilities (thanks to "_________________", seriously, its his/her name. for bringing the issue forward), so you can farm anywhere, unlike before. And made some modifications to hydroponic cotton and cactus, they seemed to output wheat, which I think is okay to fix.

The mod to activate in the mod list is called Condensed Food, as that was the original name before it got bigger and I would rather not mess with it's name.

Link for those who want to modify it to their taste (if you want to upload a modded version of this, no need to ask, just give credit where due):

Hello Pgames,

The mod should still be working, as it is stand-alone addition (so whatever the devs added should not affect it). As for the blood and sands collection, I think they should be able to coexist together, unless it modifies farming to make it harder or easier, this mod will be an extra way to circumvent it. Though you will require a mod for procuring AI cores and other stuff like it for higher tier farming.

hi i got the kenshi game recently, and this mod looks really cool - i like cooking etc in games :)

and am currently using a Blood and Sands collection pack seen on a youtuber (dextor) ... im still a noob at kenshi lol, but can i check if this still mod works (since its 1 year later than last comment, which might imply that no news is good news :) and has anyone else used it with that collection?

Wow, I thought I made sure of that. Kudos for finding that, I will update accordingly. All users of the mod thank you :)

Figured out what happened, under Building > Functionality > Farming Veg Copy/Farming Rice Copy the max workers was set to 0, which makes you unable to harvest with them. By setting that to 1 you can harvest them again. Tested it myself and it works.

I seem to have the same problem with tech 2 riceweed and greenfruit farms, any progress on that by any chance?

Srory for the late reply!

Well, that is weird, as the tech 2 farms are all the same (in every respect except for the sprite and the output). I won't be able to look into it today but I can give it a look over this weekend, its been quite busy on my end. I have also installed Windows 10 again, so many files are still not in it, including the mods for this game.

Hypothesis is that the update broke it, but maybe try to see if the Tech 1 versions work too. And validate Kenshi, it magically loses files somehow after each update.

My bad. It seems the greenfruit and riceweed farms tech 2 farms have issues. Cactus seems to work fine.

So I came back to playing kenshi and tried out the tech 2 farms. It seems the issue I mentioned back then still hasn't been fixed. I can only haul water but can't actually harvest the crops.

You may want to consult this mod I have made here:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1162388415

You don't have to go all the way through the whole research tree, the first level should be enough for the gears (and I think it doesn't cost anything or maybe an engineering to research). Though, a little surprised, I always found a lot of gears available (between the adventuring, shek towns, hive towns, and world's end).

It seems that an update to the description was erased.... again (it contained this information). Will post, as for AI cores there is another mod that might prove useful too.
