example ship in side bar --->

set up:
1. you will need: 1 programable block, 1 timer, 4 cameras, 1 or more text/lcd pannels and 1 rotor with an armored block on it, with all 4 cameras on said block

2. add "RADAR" to the text pannel name

3. mount rotor to top of vehicle and add "RADAR" to the rotor name

4. add block and all 4 cameras to the rotor, and add "RADAR FRONT" "RADAR BACK" "RADAR LEFT" "RADAR RIGHT" to their names them acordingly

5. place timer and programable block, add script to programable block and save changes then put "reboot" in the argument box(no quotes), set timer delay to one second, set timer actions to: 1(programable block: run with blank argument) 2(timer block: trigger now) 3(timer block: start)

6. add to your cockpits "G" menue:1(timer block: on/off) 2(programable block: run with argument "1") 3(programable block: run with argument "2") 4(programable block: run with argument "4")

7. start the timer

8.Press timer block on/off on the "g" bar to toggle the script on/off and press the programable block: run with argument ("1"/"2"/"4") to scale the number of scan directions (default 4), scan range and scan accuracy up or down set amounts.

9. if you make any changes to the scripts settings the "RADAR DISPLAY" should freeze up, press the run button in the "k" menue to clear this up, alternetively you can bind this to the "G" menue for ease of access

//!!!Note!!! this script can cause huge lag, please take the time to customize the default values of cameraRange, accuracy, screen resolution, and script refresh rate according to your set up

@the_educater I've had very little sleep the last few days, so I know all about lack of motivation. Initially I thought I had missed a line terminator when I edited the script, so I tried the defaut script, and even tried it in a new world. Unfortunately it's beyond my skill level to fix.

@the_educater I'm on the default branch (Stable?). Everything's changed since I last played.

hmm you on stable or dev branch?

I get "Program[535,43}: Error: Argument 1: cannot convert from 'double' to 'float'. That's with the untouched script.
