Report a translation problem
hold C, right click on the model and click on "make Animatable." your model will snap into a T-pose that can be picked up and moved around without it going limp. then you can use the Advanced Bone Tool to pose the model however you wish.
you could also, in theory, hold C, right click on the model while it's in animatable state and click Edit Bones to pose the model without the Advanced Bone Tool. but Please No- trust me, don't do this to yourself.
