Ragdoll Mover
LUA Error
I got this LUA error and I don't know what's causing it, nor is it causing me any problems, but I thought it would be best to report it anyway.

[Ragdoll Mover] lua/includes/extensions/string.lua:88: bad argument #1 to 'string_len' (string expected, got nil) 1. string_len - [C]:-1 2. Split - lua/includes/extensions/string.lua:88 3. GetModelName - lua/weapons/gmod_tool/stools/ragdollmover.lua:630 4. RGMBuildEntMenu - lua/weapons/gmod_tool/stools/ragdollmover.lua:1006 5. func - lua/weapons/gmod_tool/stools/ragdollmover.lua:1123 6. unknown - lua/includes/extensions/net.lua:33

But a problem I do have is, when selecting the head with the position gizmo and pushing it up, it will snap back to the head and not move at all, no matter what I do, I need to be able to fix that for my machinimas so I can move the rotation gizmo off screen to make their heads bob up and down, is there any way to fix that?

Thanks in advance.

are you moving head up on a ragdoll? in that case you'd need to also get Ragdoll Stretch tool from workshop, and generally issue with some ragdoll bones not stretching can be fixed by making them heavier with weight tools that can set weight to ragdoll bones, like Ragdoll Weight. all those tools should be on workshop.

did the lua error pop up when you did something specific, or all the time?

The LUA error popped up when I selected the neck of this model after the head position gizmo was moved up, also I forgot to say that the position gizmo not moving up and snapping back to the head only happens on the Barney model from HL2, from what I've noticed.

ah, so you want to move gizmo off the head, but keep head in place? they generally try to stick with the selected bone, and there's not much way to move them off stuff right now.

That's weird because in my Chloe model and other models, the gizmo moves just fine, but with the Barney model, It just doesn't want to move, but thank you for your help anyway.

probably that's related to the ragdoll stretching stuff then, considering it doesn't happen on your custom models and it happens on valve ones. maybe try making barney's head heavier, around 30 or something, and try to move the gizmo then

just happened to make an update to ragdoll mover, with the lua error pop up again if you do what you did when it happened before?
