Does it happen as long as you hold down the angle manipulator? Is it voice chat or text chat?

Text chat. and my friend cant see my messages

And, if i move a limb, then let go, i cant chat

also i cant even change weapons or tools while this happens.

That's weird. Is it a peer to peer, who is the host and which addons are present? Try doing a test with only ragdoll mover enabled to check if it is not some conflict, as I have no idea how RM could break chat

The host is my friend.

everytime you use the ragdoll mover in MP (regardless whether you're rotating or simply changing positions of the ragdoll) you get a devastating lag that lasts up to minutes (as far as text goes). the server is p2p, and admittedly we haven't tested this without addons yet. the lua error i'm getting is

So how do i fix it?

Have you happened to try it without other addons enabled? You can disable them without unsubscribing from gmod's main menu in the addons section

Yeah, but my friend is the one who is hosting. it wouldnt matter

Then they gotta disable the addons to check that
