Love this map
have played multiple times through, mainly on the sapiens mod with custom civs

1st time I played Egypt, the floodplains farm tiles plus a ton of wheat easily catapulted me to top pop numbers. I allied closely with Arabia (ofc, forward settled near King Solomon's Mines though). Built a ton of wonders and went for a cultural victory, but the game was basically won by the medieval era so I quit early, deciding I needed a bigger challenge.

2nd time, I played Inuit (got overconfident). Suffered being TSL in Nuuk, Greenland- Inuit gimmick is that they can move across ice, but the ice here is seperated by ocean, a nice northwest passage which frustratingly divides the arctic islands from north america. Tried to use tundra pantheon for religion, spent most just fending off barbs, fell too far behind to compete

3rd time, I played Dutch, realized my mistake very rapidly but at least there are no barbs when you're surrounded by other civs. Wasn't bad, got a nice tall capital, though had hard time finding good Polder spots. Decided I wanted to gekolonise, flooded empty south america and australia with settlers. Tall to wide swap. Babylon got a science victory but whatever it was fun

4th time, I played Kongo, settled my capital at TSL on the coast, quickly grabbed the lakes pantheon and settled my second city near Lake Victoria. Kongo's main bonus, basically a reverse of Poland's Solidarity, gives a free tech for completing social policy branches, adopting a belief or choosing ideology. Religious victory was surprisingly hard though, but i won

5th time, I played India, annoyingly hemmed in by city states but oh well. Farmed culture off barbarians in the early game, built a nice triangle of three cities then decided I wanted to go loud, prepped loads of science culture and production, befriended most of the world and then cheesed my way to victory in one turn by nuking everyone's capitals and walking inside

6th time, I played Australia, was a lonely early-mid game and got let down by middling resources/improvement spots. Loads of space to expand a wide empire tho. Mongolia had loads of space too and I spent the later game fending off Khan with my fun UUs, may have not been because i deliberately provoked them. Tehe. Probably not gonna finish this one

I wonder what civ I should play next? Have you fixed the Coral/Rice/Maize issue?
