Wyrd Pariah Class

My short review of pariah class (cuz too long for comment secion)
played 2 dungeons with her, then unsubbed. here is mine bullet points:

- dagger of rittual/prepare sacrifice, not really my fav mechanic with markings but to each its own, hovewer moving forward mechanic is not really needed here to put her in harm's way, she is in fact her own worst enemy when comes to damage in later stages , if you keep this moving forward mechanic I would recommend adding something bring her "back" at least one position backwards.

-Death rate is waaay off balance :P, I runned both pariach, on both runs, both dies on those runs here is how :
=Run 1 lvl 1 pariah
cause od death : hearth attack :P, tried to set up her as healer of the grp, which she kinda did but died in the process, yea she went crazy.
=Run 2 lvl 3
Cause of death : hearth attack again+bleed, tried to play safer with her but once she went consume even my flagellant couldn't save her.
If she going to stay rolling like that she need some serious death door resillience, otherwise she going to die every single time when she go consume,

- Summoning abillities, well I like Nyarlathotep's Mark, pretty balanced I say as for others 2 skill I don't rly like them(again my preference), My suggstion would to replace them with diffrent skills to give this class a more variety in terms of use and position flexibility.

-Art, I would replace that dagger with bloody 1h AXE! :D.

Overall I like the class premise, a dark cultist ,as an opposition to flagellant, Skills like offer flesh and deranged gibberish are cool, the consume mechanic is also good ide to stick with it but need some tweaks so she won't kill herself in her first dungeon run. As for me right now this class, in my opinion is "unbalanced".

Please keep in mind that my text is not for to "bash" your class or you, I wrote it for you as
my honest feedback to you help make pariah a better class, one that I really hope to back to and subscribe again.

Hello there. Thanks for you for your insights.

My previous build actually had her very reliant on Dagger of Ritual as it is the only way to tone down the massive barrage of stress.

I'm still unsure about people's comments, but my stand is that this class really needs the stress heal because no other class in the game at the moment has very reliable stress heals on top of enemies that focus down on stressed characters.

Perhaps I will revert Dagger of Ritual back to 16 stress healed per hit if more people complain about being unable to negate the stress.

That said, a Lv5 Pariah is really good especially if you have her of Cage of Madness trinket. Paired with the Occultist's Vulnerability Hex that marks enemies, Dagger of Ritual can easily hit 20+ damage especially since it has 120% bonus against marked enemies, and even more so if they are stunned.

Strangely, but such vanila heroes as Crusader, Flagellant and Jester is able to lower her stress and her Stabby-Stab move also helpfull with this. I am raiding my 5 level Dungeons and fighting all enemies pretty comfortably, but maybe yeah her first skill need some boost as 16 stress heal.

I see. I myself am not having any problems with the current build. It's just that perhaps she requires more babysitting than most classes, especially if the enemy's stress dealers decide all to gang on her. If this happens, it's time to lay off her stress inflicting skills and use her dagger.

Because from my experience alone, once she hits 100 stress, it's a slippery slope to constant heart attacks and it will be hard to control her.

Also, once more, do not feel too attached to her. Like most heroes, the Pariah is disposable.

maybe make it so pariahs can spawn in the cart at one resolve level higher than your current "experienced recruits" rank would normally allow so that losing a pariah the first time you bring her out stings a little less because you didn't invest as much into her to get her to where she was at
