get it, "zapad" for west, "grad" for city

would be awesome when the ruling party changes in the soviet union some city names would convert aswell. always feels weird to see leningrad when your democratic etc

i actually did that, when russia is neutral it's called Petrograd, when democratic it's called St. Petersburg. Also Kuybishev is called Samara when russia is not communist.

both of these things are already there, Memel gets called Klaipedos Krastas

I'd like to throw in the suggestion of making Leningrad to be renamed to Pietari and/or Neva if occupied/owned by Finland.

So many italian city names aren't even done like:
Torino = Turin
Firenze = Florence
Napoli = Naples
Roma = Rome

I don't have any other names to replace them with, so I didn't do anything to them.
Though I could get the state names localization and change them to local names there.
