upgrade skills

does anyone know if using the upgrade station affects the damage of the skills? my group has been trying to do some tests and half the time it slightly seems like it works but then it stops

For damage based skills, Primitive seems to do the same damage as Ascendant. I'm going to test more later (EG: X-Trap on Druids, Healing, etc) but since the mod isn't Open Source it's hard to figure out.
