Stat suggestion
Would it be difficult to be able to turn stuff like Agility down so my character doesn't have trouble with stuff like building a bridge and tilling a field? Like, a button somewhere that toggles the agility boost. Maybe there's a jumping obstacle somewhere with spikes on the ceiling, and the character, due to high agility, can't not hit his head.

Does Shift+W do anything currently?

What about Shift+Up and Shift+Down to increase or decrease the stat, limited to the Agility points you actually have? An agile character would logically be able to hold back if the situation called for it. For example, tap-jumping over holes with tesla spikes not far above on the ceiling.

Then again, there's also space on the stat screen for up and down buttons, as well as space next to the stat numbers for an "effective stat" number, to have that be what your character will reflect, vs. the original number, which is the max available. Sometimes, you don't want to deal heavy damage to a monster. Sometimes, you need it alive so you can catch it.

Chaika? Yes. Chaika.  [developer] 5 Nov, 2018 @ 4:46am
Well, I'd love to do that, but as far as I am aware, you can only write mechanisms for key presses in tech scripts and no where else. Shift makes you walk, right? I could potentially make it halve jump height while holding it, but only because I can check if the player is currently walking.

Is that about up your alley?

Yeah. I play FU, and it adds back the Portal Dungeons with the shocky things everywhere. It's impossible to get through them without a translocator.

I agree. Having something to control jump height once your agility is boosted woudl really help this mod out. At this time having a high agility can work against you in too many situations.
Chaika? Yes. Chaika.  [developer] 3 Jan, 2019 @ 4:38pm
In the newest update (unreleased), Jump Height will default to normal if you are currently walking (holding shift and moving). There is no way for me to check this for stationary jumps, but having this is better than having nothing. Hope this is up your alley!

Awesome, looking forward to it
