Difficulty & balance : monster/player base modifiers ?
hi,
another question if you don't mind :p

is there any monster/player base adjustments to difficulty ?
or do this just makes the game "easier" from the start ?
I don't mean this in a bad way, it's not a critic just wondering how it works out
since even at level 1 you get bonuses.

example:
without this mod
let's take a 110 hp race with a generic weapon that would have like 15 Damage at game start
no equipment change, no race change no nothing
let's also take a random monster with X health & Y dmg

with this mod
would a soldier with it's 5 vitality end up with 4*5 + 110 = 130 hp ?
if the weapon is a one handed gun, would the soldier end up with 15 * (1 + 10 / 100 + 4 dexterity / 100 ) = 17.1 Damage ?
would the monster still have X health & Y dmg ?

Thanks.

Yeah, monsters are unchanged, so your character will technically be stronger from the getgo. I have offset this somehow by adding a Hardcore toggle in game that adds negatives to each class. For example, because of how fast and hardhitting Ninja is at a distance, Ninja has half health in Hardcore mode.

Otherwise, combining this with a difficulty mod may make the experience more enjoyable.
Thanks a lot for the answer. *bows*
I might just get difficulty+ and its FU compatibility stuff (alternative armor scale) and this mod
