First, I'd like to suggest you make a few topics with "known issues" as one, "Known incompatibilities" as another and something along the lines of a readme as well, pinning all three.

It might help with the flood of stuff on the comment section after all.

I'd like to ask how exactly you get a colonist out of the pods if you start by landing a ship. I haven't tried this yet but the assumption is that you land with everything you launched with, so how do you get your colonists out if everyone starts in cryostasis?

A suggestion towards that problem, is to add "wake on land" checkboxes to pods, so you can have colonists flick a pod switch on several pods to wake the user on entering a strong gravitational field or on landing. To prevent any unrealisticness of just self waking pods with user clicking a pod to open it.

Then you can start a scenario with 0 pawns and your pods will determine who wakes up. You should change these ship pods to auto add these colonists to your colony when waking up, as I saw someone mention earlier that colonists woken from the pods leave the map as a guest. Just in case thats an issue, I figured I'd suggest this now.

Does this work with stacks of stuff? Like if I use a skip that stacks 10 stacks of steel on top of each other in the same tile, will it end up saved in the file and give me 10 stacks of steel in that cell when the ship lands?

It does seem to save what you put down since when I did make a ship (tedois cheaty and overall not worth it venture considering how buggy it was) but yeah it seems structural values and cell values are saved just not anything else.
Im at a total loss on how to build a ship with the new parts.

So, you can destroy the hull tiles... If you make a complicated ship such as your entire base, youll need to destroy your base to take off again. May need to make them indestructable or more placable

how do you START a game with a ship you saved?

You edit the scenario when starting the game theres sn option somewhere in there

Hello,
When I start a new game with my ship :
-I can't open the pods without adding a settler with the dev mod.
-I must "claim mine" all the part of the ship and content.
-When I open a pod, the settler quit the map if I don't use the "recruit pawn" cheat of the dev mode.
-I can't open my save, there is the same error of when you remove a mod and the game can't open your save.

It's true I use arround 140 mods, but is there a way to fix this ?

Once I lanched shp, the lanuched ship data is saved in steam cloud? or do i have to extract and save independently? and how about the prisoners? are they saved too?
