The mod just adds a few decent buildings (5-10) that need to recognize the new capitals. As long as they recognize the new capitals the mod should work fine. Could rebalance but looks good as-is.
And Buildable ancient buildings:

The mod enables T5 buildings to upgrade to T6 Ancient buildings. It's quite nice for filling out fallen ring worlds or for super late game. At the moment it breaks this mod completely for some reason.
I would say NSC but it works perfectly fine at the moment, even the new capitals are recognized. Could rebalance though like you've said.

There's some conflict in the building-related files.
I hope i will be able to start compatibility patches the next days. :)
Edit: I already started some work on the file. Let me know if you want me to send it to you.
Your planetary capital chain makes a lot of stellaris mods incompatible in terms of buildings. Since they require a capital, which they don't recognize tier 4/5 as.
However, you can fix this by making the capital a variable yield building; instead of having to upgrade and replace the building with a higher tier, you could just have the building increase its yields when a tech gets researched. By adding something like this to the building's code
I was thinking about a similar solution when i took over the mod.
At the moment i am thing about a second building on planets to access the higher tier buildings.
Created a compatibility Patch for each of them.

@Kino: I am working on an update of Novus Orbis. After this it will be possible to make a comp patch to alphamod :)
